Veteran of the Month: Frank Osborne
The Veteran of the Month is an award presented to a veteran chosen by members of the Johnson County Senior Center. The chosen veteran is recognized during the Veterans' Cafe (first Wednesday of each month) and awarded a plaque paid for by Johnson County Bank.
After serving in the U.S. Navy for three years, Frank continued to serve his community as Johnson County Sheriff from 1982-1986.
He and his wife Jean have been married for 41 years and attend the Butler Baptist Church. Frank loves to serve the Lord and is always ready to follow his calling. Thank you for your service. We are grateful for the sacrifices of all our veterans. Nominate someone for next month’s featured veteran in the box to the right. Awards are presented on the last Wednesday of each month for the upcoming month. |
